Colleges
Our history of supporting the rapidly changing needs of colleges goes back right to the founding of the company some 40 years ago. Customers such as Brockenhurst College have seen Activa Education evolve over many years. Wherever possible, we look to upgrade such college facilities without scrapping older equipment, through the use of complimentary products such as LogoLab and Relanpro. Changing needs are accommodated as they arise.
Students who now do more studying away from a classroom than they do within one can also take advantage of products like LogoLab which, working from a central server, can offer an array of voice recording, analogue broadcast and translation facilities from any network point, but without the need for the installation of client software. We have further enhanced this product still further with a free upgrade to LogoHome, enabling students to practice speaking and listening skills from their home PCs. LogoLab can even be used over a multi campus network.
Free hands on demonstrations of the solutions we offer, available free to both IT staff and teachers mean that no product need be purchased without a clear understanding of its needs, features and benefits. This facility can be further enhanced with the use of temporary installations to allow staff greater assessment time and IT staff an opportunity to see a product working within the confines of the colleges IT setup.
We continue to look for more case studies with colleges to better illustrate how our products can support classroom teaching and managed self study.
